Jeffers designed the Expression line from real measurements of a range of draft breeds, so this blanket has a broader back, a longer barrel, and a roomier neck opening for a muscular draft build.
The 1200-denier ripstop shell is waterproof and breathable, and 240g of polyfill gives dependable midweight warmth through cold, wet weather. Adjustable, removable criss-cross surcingles and hind leg straps let you fine-tune the fit. The straps are elastic, which releases more easily than nylon if your horse gets tangled. Generous shoulder gussets keep her moving freely, a large tail flap adds coverage against wind and rain, and a full set of replacement belly bands and leg straps comes in the box.
