Competition-legal bitting built with draft-sized horses in mind. The CalmBlue Dressage Loose Ring Snaffle's tapered mouthpiece -- 12mm at the cheeks, narrowing to 10mm at the center -- delivers our signature tongue relief while meeting FEI and USEF regulations, thanks to a fixed copper inlay in place of the standard CalmBlue's rolling barrel.
The loose ring cheekpiece allows freer movement in the mouth for subtler, more precise communication, making it a good fit for advanced horses that respond to a lighter signal. Sweet iron construction develops a mild, sweet taste over time as the finish naturally oxidizes.
Approved for USEF, EC, FEI, EC Eventing, and USEA Dressage. Available in sizes 6" and 6.5".
