CalmBlue Baucher Snaffle Bit

Built around acceptance and calm communication, the CalmBlue Baucher Snaffle's independently moving cannons let you communicate precisely without piling pressure onto the center of the tongue -- a common frustration with classic link designs. A copper roller lets the bit glide freely as the reins engage.

The Baucher (hanging cheek) design offers the most stability of any cheekpiece style, lifting the bit away from the bars so it can't be pulled through the mouth. It's a strong alternative to full cheek or eggbutt styles for younger or more sensitive horses.

Made from sweet iron, which develops a mild, sweet taste over time as the blue finish naturally oxidizes. Available in sizes 6" and 7". Not dressage-legal (see our CalmBlue Dressage Baucher for the FEI-legal version).
